Why we exist

Deciding whether to join is a big choice, and the official information is spread across many government sites and written in dense language. TakeOath gathers it into plain, sourced answers and free prep tools, so you can see what joining really involves and whether it is right for you. For green card holders, honorable service is also a fee-waived path to U.S. citizenship, which we cover as a featured track.

Independent and free

TakeOath is run independently. It is free to use, and it is not a recruiter and not a government service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for the U.S. government, the U.S. Army, or the National Guard, and we do not use their names, seals, or imagery.
